Better known as the coyote squash, the mirliton is something to celebrate! ( it is almost always smothered with shrimp and dressing) Today I blew 12 bucks and here's what I got:
A seafood stuffed mirliton
2 sweet red peppers stuffed with mirliton, andouille and cheddar
A large cup of gourmet coffee
entrance to the band stand ( and an interesting caberet ensemble)
74 degrees
blue skies
and a break from all my trials, Lord.
