I returned from work last night and found the fabulous confections waiting on the table.
He makes these every year and the first time I tried them, I wept. His lemon bars taste exactly like my Mom's. His chocolate chip cookies taste exactly like nestles chocolate chip cookies in the refrigerated section of your grocery store.

Homemade lemon bars, that's impressive! I haven't tried making those yet. For some reason, they intimidate me. He sounds like a keeper and my mouth is watering imagining the sweet/tartness of the bars!
